Let’s start with our local’s favorite cuisine, Mexican. The newest restaurant to hit the scene on the waterfront, Flor de Maiz has made quite the splash. Taking over the place of the old El Torito, Carlos Luna (the talented owner of the Los Agaves Restaurants) has introduced an innovative twist on Oaxacan cuisine. Its decor and bar scene have already created quite the social scene as the “it place to be”.
